Model Overview

The Gitzo GT1542 Mountaineer Series 1 is a lightweight four‑section carbon fibre tripod built for passionate photographers. Its Carbon eXact tubes and larger diameters deliver outstanding rigidity and load capacity up to 18 kg, ideal for DSLRs with 135–200 mm lenses. The reversible centre column and rapid Ground‑Level Set enable low‑angle shooting from just 15 cm, while G‑Lock Ultra twist‑locks and leg‑angle selectors ensure quick, dust‑resistant setup in the field.
