Amateur Photographer magazine has presented MPB with its Gold Good Service Award for the platform’s customer experience, as voted for by the public.

“I’m thrilled!” said Matt Barker, CEO and founder of MPB. “Our teams work hard to improve people’s experience using the MPB platform, so adding another award to our collection always feels great. A big thank you to everyone who voted for MPB, I’m proud.”
Nigel Atherton, Group Editor of Amateur Photographer magazine, said, “We’ve been published since 1884, so it’s fair to say we know good service when we see it. MPB very much deserves this award. The company offers a great customer experience with competitive prices, whether you are buying used gear from them or selling yours. The process is slick and seamless, with no unreasonable price quibbling or courier headaches.”
In a London ceremony, Amateur Photographer also presented Simon Wiffen with the Unsung Hero Award for his portraiture book in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. MPB and Amateur Photographer presented Graeme Chesters with the £5,000 MPB Rising Star bursary, which he will use to support his project exploring climate change in Svalbard. Meanwhile, the International Photographers Against Wildlife Crime group won the Power of Photography Award for their work campaigning for the end of illegal wildlife trafficking.
