The digital back powers on but does not operate as intended. In Single Shot mode it consistently triggers bursts of approximately eight consecutive frames instead of capturing a single exposure, and in most instances no data is written to the CF card. On the rare occasion that an image is recorded it is severely corrupted, displaying pronounced horizontal banding across the frame.

For this reason is sold as spare and repair.
