The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V is a travel-ready compact camera combining a long 16× optical zoom (24-384mm equivalent) with a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, making it good for wide scenes and distant details alike. It delivers 16.2MP stills, full HD video (1080p), and features like GPS tagging, 3D Sweep Panorama and high-speed 10fps burst mode. Optical SteadyShot stabilisation and a bright 3-inch LCD help with handheld low-light shots. Battery life is solid at ~410 shots.
