                  Model Overview

                  As part of the Gitzo series 2 supports, the GT2941LVL is a full-height basalt-composite video tripod, capable of supporting Mini DV camcorders weighing up to 7.0 kg. Created from volcanic rock, Gitzo utilises basalt to produce fibres for tripods of exceptional performance, stability, and durability. The crude material is pulverised, melted at 2732°F (1500°C), and spun into a strong Fibre which is used to create multi-layer composite tubing. The result is a lightweight, vibration-absorbing tube of exceptional performance that meets and exceeds the demands of today's professional photographers.
