Professional and amateur photographers alike are invited to submit their most poignant, insightful and eye-opening environmental photography.
MPB is sponsoring one of the four competition categories: MPB Vision of the Future. The winner of each category will receive a £1,000 cash prize. The competition also awards prizes to the competition title winner and Nikon’s Young title winner. MPB Vision of the Future is an exciting category that searches for inspiring or thought-provoking interpretations of our future environment as told through the photographer’s lens.
Rachel Thompson, MPB’s Head of Sustainability, commented: “Sustainability and the environment are core to MPB’s own purposeful mission so we are proud to be supporting EPOTY for the first time.’
“Visual storytelling is a powerful force which can bring awareness to the critical environmental issues facing our planet. EPOTY provides a global platform for both amateur and professional photographers to tell these important stories, reinforcing the urgent need for action and helping to inspire change.”
Environmental Photographer of the Year (EPOTY) is organised by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and streaming platform WaterBear. Presented by Nikon, in association with MPB and supported by design firm Arup.
