Review: A closer look at the DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Published 28 January 2021 by MPB
After more than a century of photography, it was hard to imagine that small flying apparatus would revolutionise how we think about image-making. Previously, the unique perspectives offered by drones were the reserve of productions with the clout to rent a helicopter or bespoke octocopters with mounted DSLRs. Now, these drones make it easy to level up your travel or nature photography.

But that was before DJI took control of the market.
DJI pretty much single-handedly changed everything. They made this type of image-making accessible to all, to the point that almost every country now has laws governing drones in public places.

The DJI Mavic series is regarded as the best out there. Amazing usability, control and interface to ensure every image is captured safely—all in a small carry-everywhere package.

With the ability to shoot 4k, an incredible display on the remote, and incredible optics from Hasselblad, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro is top of our list.

If you're a travel photographer or an adventure photographer, buying a drone has to be a consideration. Who knows — a drone could even help you capture the northern lights. Thinking of upgrading? Don't wait to sell or tradeused camera gear. Don't forget to see more articles at the MPB content hub
