Model Overview
The Gitzo GT2542LS Series 2 6X Systematic Tripod is part of the smallest series of tripods in the Systematic range. The improved carbon Fibre tubing is stronger, lighter, and it's as resistant as its 12-layer predecessor, with good torsional rigidity. It features a flat centre disk that can be interchanged for centre columns, leveling bases and other components. Carbon "6X" is manufactured using a complex, 3D process, weaving 6 layers of carbon Fibre into smooth, solid constructed tubes. This tripod can operate at a minimum height of just 3.6" (without a centre column), a maximum height of 51.2", and has a load capacity of 55.1 lb.
