Model Overview

A compact zoom lens optimised for digital cameras with a fast maximum aperture for f2.8 over the zoom range. Two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements and four aspherical lenses provide excellent correction for distortion as well as all types of aberration. The minimum focusing distance is 33cm over the zoom range giving a maximum close-up photography magnification of 1:4.4. As the front barrel of the lens does not rotate during focusing, use of a circular polarising filter and the included petal-type hood is possible.
