The Gitzo GT2932EX Explorer Basalt Tripod is a standard-height tripod made from Basalt material. Basalt, a black lightweight rock, is pulverised and melted at extreme temperatures. It is then combined with other materials and spun into a strong Fibre, which is used to create multi-layer composite tubing. The result is a non-rotating tube of exceptional performance that meets the demands of today's professional photographers.
