Model Overview

This Wireless transmitter attaches to the camera bottom and connects to the USB 2.0 port to realise the wireless transfer of images directly to any IEEE 802.11b compatible access point without restricting movement. When connected, photographs can be uploaded to an ftp server via a wireless network. For security reasons Nikon has included three security protocols - ESSID, WEP and MAC Address - to protect your valuable image data while it is being transferred. Transmission is automatically retried if it is disrupted during data transfer, thus allowing you to continue to shoot and capture images normally. Power is supplied from the camera.
